😦 Hate

to sign up to get a slot on Hollyhoque’s Waiting List?

Hollyhoque has always adopted a without prejudice attitude towards deadbuyers. However, there has been a recent spike in the number of deadbuyers since our move to www.hollyhoque.com.

We have encountered orders with several items carted out of which payments were not made/only made for a fraction of the items. Unfortunately, these inconsiderate actions led to others being slotted on our waiting list while you take your time to deliberate over which item(s) to make payment(s) for. We really hope to stress the importance of refraining in carting out an item if you are deliberating over its purchase.

Therefore, with effect from the next collection, deadbuyers who
– do not make payments for the items carted out; and/or
– cart out several items in an order but make payments for less than the number of items carted out for

will
– have their orders render null and void for their orders in the following collection, that is, subsequent to the one they were deadbuyers for. Slot(s) for the item(s) carted out will be re-added to our system. Their orders will only be acceded to subjected to the availability of in-stocks after all other orders have been catered for; or
– receive full refunds in the event payments have already been made for the orders.

The above actions are tentative and subjected to change. Let us know what you think!

hi sharon! so what are the criteria to be on the VIP list? is it the spend more than $300 thing? :/

  2. I want to be in VIP list! But I m not a big buyer… but I m a loyal customer of HH. T__T $300 for two months I still can try. If $300 for a month I think I can be count out to be in VIP list. sad.

  3. hello babes! how do we know if we qualify for HH’s VIP list? do we show “invoice proof” to sheila or she will calculate the sums base on our purchases?

just my personal opinions for HH’s considerations on deadbuyers:

“deadbuyers who do not make payments for the items carted out; and/or cart out several items in an order but make payments for less than the number of items carted out for will have their orders render null and void for their order in the following collection” –> i think it’d be better if the pymt is at least 90% of the no. of items cart out (e.g. if she carts out 6items, but pay for only 3 or less, this can be consider deadbuyers. if she pay for more than 4..i think we can cater that they did not read the description/details of the item properly thats y they cart out so gan chiongly & regret ltr) of course this must not happen in every collection to be fair! πŸ™‚

*cross fingers that im entitled to HH’s VIP* sigh!!! ))):
HH’s customers base is soooo much bigger now!!

  4. More details will be released after 13 April. Stay tuned babes!

  5. 😦 so the vip list is no longer for regular customers even if they spend less than $250? 😦

  6. hi sharon, sorry this is a lil bit irrelavant, bt wad happened to the html coding for the text? everythng is underlined! a lil difficult to read, heh

    Hi Hollyhoque,

Can you consider adding a delete button for people to cancel orders?

Back in Livejournal, we can do that if we have second thoughts about our orders, but we can’t do so at the new site.

    Just a thought.

  8. Hello Sharon!
I just check my account over at the HH dot.com! My accumulated purchases over the month of March is $257.50 which has not exceed $300 yet. So within this 2 days i have to spend $42.50 before the end of march to reach $300, is that so to be qualify to be a member? πŸ˜€ But there is no new collection within this 2 days so i don’t know how to reach the 300 target?
Is there any possible ways that we can identify ourselves as a member? Will you be sending notification email to every individual customer who is entitied to be a VIP of HH?
Or you will set each account with VIP’s privileges?
    Do lemme know again! πŸ™‚

    Loves,
    Michhy!

for the deadbuyer problem, i think some of them might just randomly cart out items from the next collection, just so as to nullify that order (which they do not want anyway) and remove the “deadbuyer” status off themselves.

its also easy to create another account πŸ™‚

    • Hi dear! That has definitely crossed our minds but we’ll not only be taking note of the email address, but the name and residential address as well! πŸ™‚ To be clear, we mean ALL orders from the next collection following the one they were deadbuyers for. Thank you for commenting! (:

Hi, I realize that Joyce doesn’t seem to be smiling as much as in previous posts. I think she can bring out the clothes more when she smiles more, otherwise she looks too stern. Just my opinion.

  11. liviandlove says:

Hi dear, do the accumulated purchases include thse from the sales/whats available post from HH lj and postage? 😑

    • Hello! As we are better able to track purchases made over dot com, it will not be inclusive of items posted from our LJ, and it’s exclusive of postage! πŸ™‚

  12. simplyunting says:

    hey dear,

dont really get the vip part πŸ˜›
yay, for the ‘chopping’ of slots πŸ™‚

    • Which part don’t you get? πŸ™‚ Our VIP list is reviewed on a monthly basis so everyone gets a go! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

      • simplyunting says:

        haha..
for instance, if one’s purchase in jan is $25 and $98 for feb, would the person be eligible for vip?

        • Hi dear, to qualify, you have to
          – spend $300 in accumulated purchases over the course of one month (either January 2010/February 2010/March 2010); or
          – spend $80 for each purchase in consecutive launches over the course of one month (either January 2010/February 2010/March 2010)

The accumulated purchases have to be made within ONE month. For April’s VIP List, we will consider accumulated purchases over the course of ONE month (either January 2010/February 2010/March 2010), or each purchase in consecutive launches over the course of ONE month (either January 2010/February 2010/March 2010).

          Hope that helps!

  13. Woa! $300 is it too much? Hahaha. maybe you all could lower it?

    • Hi dear, from our database and to maintain exclusivity to our VIP List, $300 is actually the threshold. 😦 But we’ll definitely note your comment! Thank you! πŸ™‚

      • IMO, i think $300 is too high especially just for a month. $300 for two months to be on the VIP list is definitely more reasonable.

Also, just to add on, although $300 is the threshold but there are a lot of customers who purchase on their friends’ behalf using that one account which results in the accumulation of purchases! πŸ™‚

        • Hi babe! The threshold has been edited! We are having stringent criteria for the VIP List such that it’ll remain exclusive and reserve ample stocks for our other customers as well. πŸ™‚
