Ever thought of donning a tanktop for a night of clubbing fun? Coupled with a flamboyant skirt, you definitely can rock the look and have a wild night out with your friends, like how Sheila did!

Sheila definitely scored an all time high by conjuring an outfit consisting of the tanktop and a bold coloured skirt!

This top is a lovely one to have for casual dress-down days too. I’m guessing Sheila is having a pair of denim shorts on with her tanktop for some playtime with Tiffy. Aww, totally off topic, but Tiffy is so cute!

A Fashionista’s Confession > Candy, 22

School Girl Knit Dress
Denim Blue

A very special blue colour that just grows on you the longer you look at it. Of a beautiful cut and design, it is no wonder the re-launch of this dress in the latest collection was a sell-out!

Colour Block Knit Tunic
Navy/Cream

The knit that Hollyhoque uses is ultimate love! Like the Multi Way Basic Knit Dress, this knit tunic is so comfy on the skin and an absolute beauty. I couldn’t resist buying two of the Puff Sleeves Tulip Hem Cardigan in the latest launch because the material is of the same knit!

Blogger’s Musings > 24092010

I love to indulge in unique establishments like Ma Maison, where the food and ambience are a fusion of Japanese and French.

For lunch, I ordered a rice set, and it was accompanied by an omelette that had me drooling just looking at the menu. Haha. The set came with a soup, salad and choice of coffee or tea (hot or cold).

Friday night was spent lounging at TCC, CityLink. The Seafood Aglio Olio was a tad too spicy for my liking, but the prawns and scallops were really fresh!

My Summer Waltz Latte. It tasted, ok.

This shot was taken with my iPhone a couple of days back. KOI, anyone? My favourite goes to Honey Green Tea with less pearls!

Ooh, did you girls get at least a colour of the Button Front Ribbed Tanktop from Hollyhoque’s last collection? If you haven’t, you have to! I love it to bits, I have it in 4 colours. I was too slow for Black, unfortunately.

And are you girls all geared up for the next collection? Preview > Hollyhoque Collection 9o; Autumn Culture will be up tomorrow, do check back! I am still torn over which colour of the Pleated Frills Sweetheart Tubetop to get, what do you think? Yellow or Mint?

Pleat Front Crochet Lace Tiered Dress
Daffodil Yellow

I missed this really sweet dress during the launch but chose not to join its backorder due to the long wait. However, the moment I saw this dress available once again at the launch of the Extras From Backorders, I told myself that I had to purchase it! Indeed, it is a lovely dress and I love the intricate crochet/lace details! It is also extremely comfortable as it is inner lined.

Thank you Hollyhoque for constantly bringing in gorgeous apparels and I’m certainly looking forward to future collections!

Tie String Sleeveless Romper
Black

Upon seeing its preview, I couldn’t wait for the romper to be launched during the collection! I don’t usually wear rompers, because I feel that it would look weird on me. Oh well, I eventually gave in and I’m proud to say that my first and only romper that I have is from Hollyhoque! I wore it on National Day to Marina Barrage, and I have to say that the material is indeed real comfortable and cooling on the skin, and it’s really suitable for Singapore’s weather!

Edging into Lace Romantic Dress
Navy

I wore this dress on a shopping date with my girlfriends. I love the cutting of the dress, especially the fact that it is not revealing. The lace sent me raving even more. I was already counting down in school and refreshing Hollyhoque’s dot com 5 minutes before the launch on my phone! The dress is so pretty and it is really a worthy buy!

Hollyhoque’s prices are reasonable and pocket friendly or students like me! In addition, the quality of the items are good! Lastly, I love how Hollyhoque’s designs are always chic and pretty and I hope to see more pretty clothes in future launches. Good job, Sheila!

Blogger’s Musings > 18092010

I have to admit it. I have been procrastinating with blogging the random musings in my life here and finally Blogger’s Musings > 18092010 is up! Do me a favour? Let me know what you think of this intiative by leaving me a comment! Your response may be the motivation to continue or the impetus to discontinue, thank you in advance! 🙂

I love Saturday lunches at Marché and it was at 313@Somerset. Don’t we all adore this little sign, instead of packets of tissue papers? Heh. Ooh..the Rösti was to die for, I can have 2 plates of it to myself. Haha.

What’s a visit to 313@Somerset if you don’t drop by Forever 21? I am happy with my only purchase there, I haven’t bought something offline for awhile, you know. All hail, online shopping. 🙂

How do you like my wedges? They had me blister free, I should add. One of my best pair of footwear till to-date. Teehee.

Hershey’s Chocolate World has landed at Tampines Mall by the way! You should pay it a visit if you haven’t, the chocolate-y smell in there is overwhelming, in a good way of course!

Dinner was Nissin Noodle with Fried Egg and Ham at Kim Gary Restaurant, Tampines 1. They have another outlet at VivoCity, beats Xin Wang Hong Kong Café hands down I feel.

I am an ardent fan of maggie mee, I know I’m weird.

I like the simplicity of the clothing label and tag from Forever twentyone, and have been bugging Sheila to conjure one for Hollyhoque for the longest time.

It’ll be the coolest thing around, you think so?

On that note, I caught sight of the items from the next collection already! They are awesome! If you like

A Fashionista’s Confession > Sylvia, 18

Hollyhoque definitely lives up to its name of manufacturing good quality clothings and this is why everyone of us, including me, have repeated purchases!

Garden Party Bodycon Dress
Yellow

Both colours (yellow and purple) look really good, I couldn’t decide on which colour to purchase and while Sheila looked absolutely stunning in the purple piece, I choose yellow because of my love for bright colours. I look cheerful in it, don’t I?

Colour Block Knit Tunic
Almond/Black

I have a thing for knit wear and I love this tunic! It’s simple but yet versatile for any occasions. I was lucky enough to get this dress as I noticed that it was sold out within minutes when I returned to http://hollyhoque.com for more colours of this tunic.

Summer Blossom Romper
Grey

A romper with flora prints, casual and suitable for our humid weather!

With pretty clothings at Hollyhoque, which girl can resist coming back for more? I cannot wait for its next launch and I love the School Girl Knit dress (Pale Yellow) in the last collection and Zoe looks awesome in it! I’m looking forward to more knit wear from Hollyhoque!

V Slit Neckline Duo Tone Top
Jade/Grey

When I saw the preview for this top, I just knew I had to get it. I was initially hesitant about which colour to purchase, but ultimately settled on jade/grey as the combination is very unique! The whole transaction with HollyHoque was very smooth, and I must commend Hollyhoque on its efficiency, as I received my top one day after payment was made! I tried it on immediately and was satisfied with its cutting. It fits me perfectly, and the length is just right. I was so pleased with my purchase I wore it to Universal Studios the following day! A casual, versatile and cooling top perfect for our weather, I regard this top as a really worthy buy from Hollyhoque, I must say. Thumbs up! Therefore, do check out the other remaining colours still available and grab them soon! (I do fancy the Navy/White too!)

Thank you, Hollyhoque.
