This necklace already caught my eye when I saw it being matched with Drape Over Toga Dress. I was in a dilemma which colour to get. Black is extremely versatile and Grey would make a good contrast with all my LBD or black tops. In the end, I got it in both colours! Singpost is very efficient this time round and I received the necklaces a day after the launch. I tried matching the necklaces with different outfits immediately when I reached home. I matched the necklaces with Contour Bodycon Dress in Black, Ruched Bandage Toga Dress in Duke Blue and Puff Sleeves Mesh Dress in Grey. They go extremely well with the dresses! I’m very happy with my purchases!

I’m loving this tunic to the max! I can’t wait to try it out when I reached home, which explains why the tunic appears to be crumpled. I choose black because it is a super versatile colour and is less sheer as compared to the other colours. Thus, it completes my look when I match it with a black tube bra and a pair of shorts for school. In addition, I can also match it with my high waist skirt and head for my internship/work. I like how I can create a variety of looks with this tunic! It’s definitely a good buy!

Hollyhoque does not compromise on the quality of its apparels despite maintaining their affordability. I am totally in love with this dress! The shade of salmon is really refreshing and unique, and the knit is very intricate and well done. I really like the slouchy boho-chic feel this piece exudes; just cinch a belt on, add a statement necklace and the look is complete. Hollyhoque has also very thoughtfully provided a inner petticoat in black which gives a peekaboo effect at the legs as Sheila had mentioned, giving a hint of sexiness yet not compromising on modesty!
Retro Rewind 3/4 Linen Skirt

I knew I would definitely get more than a colour for this skirt as I previously had the Flare Cut Skirt Pants made in the same material thus I already know how awesome it is! I love the big pleats at the front and how its like a swing skirt; definitely channeling the Audrey Hepburn feel. The rich wine red shade is lovely for a casual date while sand is really versatile and can be dressed up with pop coloured tanks this Spring/Summer for a vibrant look. The elastic banding at the back makes for a really good fit, and isn’t ugly at all contrary to some opinions!

This dress did not catch my eye at first when I saw it on http://sheilamandy.onsugar.com as it did not look special, perhaps because I could not see the lace of the dress from her pictures. However, once I saw the preview for it on https://hollyhoque.wordpress.com, I was totally attracted to it! I was quite afraid that this dress will make my shoulders look broad, but I was totally wrong. It’s a right choice to get this dress. The lace is awesome. You have to get this dress to know how gorgeous it is! I will be wearing it to my cousin’s wedding in the middle of June. I really love this dress!

I was pretty afraid that the dress would be oversize on me! When I purchase it, I doubted if I would really like this dress. When I received my parcel, I tried it, and I realised it made me looked petite! I can pair it with al kinds of belt. Like what Sheila said on http://formspring.me/sheilamandy, “The trick is to tighten your belt and then tuck the dress out a little”. The slouchy pocket made the whole dress looked even cuter! Gunmetal Grey is an awesome colour! It even comes with a complimentary petticoat in Black, which I think is totally worth the price as the knit material is fabulous. It’s really a must get!

I had difficulty choosing the colour for this top! All the colours look equally great. I got White in the end as I feel it to be a cheerful colour! I never regretted getting this colour. To me, most of the tube tops will make my arms looks flabby or thick. I was surprised that when I tried this top, it actually made my arms looked a little slimmer. The top won’t slip off, as there is an elastic band behind which give the top maximum hold! The flora prints on the top is really pretty, not to forget the crochet trim, which is nicely laid on the bust area. I matched it with Buttons Line Up High Waist Shorts (Denim) for a casual day out. I love the combination!

This skirt was love at first sight for me! I like the flare and ripples, and specially the length of the skirt! Though it’s at the knee, it does not cause any hindrance when I walk. The skirt is really very pretty and gives a really retro look! At first, I wanted to get it in Mustard, but wasn’t sure how I could match it with, so I chose Black. Black is always the safest colour. I can pair it with Crochet Trim Flora Bustier Tube Top, or any bright coloured tops to enhance my outfit. I will definitely join the backorder for Mustard if there’s one, or get the Sand!

3/4 Draw Strings Swing Skirt

I am a fan for maxi skirts even though I stand at 1.53m; When I knew that Hollyhoque was going to launch a 3/4 length one, it was a happy moment for me because I wouldn’t have to alter it! I am very pleased with the colour as it is very sweet. I paired it with a stripes top, abalone sunburst necklace and orange wedges to create a nautical feel, but it can be easily dressed down with a dark coloured tank or tube and a pair of flip flops or sandals. The lightweight cotton makes the skirt an absolute breeze to wear and the elastic band at waist accentuates it. I can never get enough of apparels from Hollyhoque, thank you Hollyhoque!

I have been eyeing this top since the preview for it as the asymmetrical pleats are really unique and pretty. I matched it with my Mid Waist Peg Leg Pants in Cream for dress down Friday but it can also be paired with pencil skirts for a smart look or dressed down with high waist shorts or jeans. The material is smooth and comfortable on the skin. The inner tube provided is smooth and thin as well, but the top is fine on its own and not sheer in fact.
